Mialee Eve Rostar Arrives!

Well, Mialee Eve decided she wanted to come home a bit early!

Sarah woke up Friday morning with some concerns so we went into the hospital to make sure everything was ok. After a couple hours of being monitored, the doctors decided that Sarah was beginning labor so it was time for a C-section!

Mialee Eve Rostar was born on July 31, 2009 at 3:05 pm. She was 6 lbs, 13 ozs and was 18 inches long! (Shorter and Heavier then both of the other girls!)

Aunt Katie stayed with the girls until Mommy and Sister were ready. Grandma & Grandpa Rostar came down right away (Where was Uncle Aaron?!?!), followed by Unclde Rusty & Aunt Sue, Grandpa Brown, Uncle Will & Uncle Adam on Saturday. To top the weekend off, Grandma Vallad, Aunt Elizabeth, Aunt Stephanie and Uncle Corey came down Sunday to hang out for abit!

Sarah and Mialee were doing better then expected and they were able to come home a day early! Everyone is now happily at home and (for the most part) settled in!

Thank You to everyone for your great support and kindness! It was great to see everyone that stopped by and all of the gifts were much appreciated!

Baby Pika Update

Just got back from the latest appointment and everything is looking good! Baby is measuring a little big, but nothing to worry about. Head is in the right direction and the C-section is scheduled for August 21st! 47 days til Baby Pika arrives!

Baby Pika - T-minus 48 Days

The big day is rapidly approaching! Our C-section is scheduled for August 21st and everything is moving right along. We'll have some more ultrasound pictures to share on Monday with everyone! :) This will be the last regular check up on the baby until the big day.

Some people have been asking and I kept forgetting to get this out there. Sarah has registered for some things that we need for the baby on WalMart's registry. Here's a link to their Registry Search:

Just put in Sarah's name into the search and put Michigan for the state and it should filter out all the other registries easy enough.

We're not expecting anything, but any little bit would help and be greatly appreciated!

We're Moving and Potty Training!

Update #1- Miss Alexis has decided that diapers are for babies and has begun potty training all on her own! One day a week or so ago, she started dragging Sarah to the bathroom every couple of minutes and lo and behold, she knew what she was doing! She's slowly getting the hang of it and if all goes well, we'll never have to worry about two kids in diapers at the same time!

Update #2- After finding a place and changing our minds (The actual apartment was waaaaaay worse then the model they showed us), we found a new place for us to live and we're very excited to be moving at the end of the month. Sarah found a place called Lamberton Lake Apartments a couple miles from where we currently live. As the name implies, the complex sits on a small lake on the Northeast side of GR. The place has a lot of things that we're excited about including being dog friendly, a Beach and huge Grassy Area for Summer fun, bigger rooms for us and the girls, a fitness center and free heat during the cold winter months! Starting May 1st, our new address will be:

Baby Pika Update - Follow Up

Forgot to mention that we had the follow up appointment earlier this week and all concerns are gone. Nothing mysterious or trouble some on the Ultrasound. For the first time in this pregnancy, everything is normal! And we're already over half way! Another thing that happened is the C-Section was scheduled! August 21st is the date barring any future concerns, issues, etc from this little baby we call Pika.

Video - Kira's New Guitar

For Kira's 4th Birthday, we got her a pink guitar. She loves playing with Mommy's guitar and so we thought she would love having her own. We left it out for her birthday and it was the first thing she saw when she woke up. She immediately came in to tell us Thank You while we were still in bed then she ran out to sit on the couch and strum away. Here's a couple short video clips of her jamming in the last couple of weeks.

Pictures - Baby Pika Update & Ultrasound - Pika is a...

We had a doctor's appointment today because of some concerns and we found out both good and bad news. First, the bad news...

Sarah has an infection that puts Baby Pika at risk for a preterm labor. Not too big of a deal as we have an antibiotic to deal with that and hopefully it will be cleared up in no time. The bigger concern is the ultrasound tech found a growth near the baby in the uterus. She didn't notice it at the last ultrasound two weeks ago, but it was pretty sizable today. We have a follow up appointment in two weeks to see if it continues to grow. The doctors didn't really have an idea of what it was... so we just wait and watch and see.

Now on to the good news! Since we were so close to the normal baby screening ultrasound, we got to find out what the baby is. And a drum roll please...

Baby Pika is a Girl!

Thats right, three little baby girls! We went right out and bought a cute little dress for Baby Pika. Luckily, we saved most of Lexi's recent clothes and things, so we have a head start.

Lexi has always enjoyed playing with her Zebra, but she wasn't quite tall enough to bounce up and down. Well, 2 months after getting the Zebra, she finally is big enough to really get into it!

Kira dressed herself and picked out her own jewelry to get ready for a day of errands with Daddy!

Baby Pika explanation

Some of you have asked "Why are you calling the baby Baby Pika?" Don't worry, that's not what we are naming the baby! Kira named the baby in Mommy's tummy Baby Pika so that's we are calling the baby. Once we find out the sex we may fill everyone in on the real name, or we may just keep going with Pika. So there you have it, the story behind "Baby Pika".

Baby Pika Update

Another trip to the doctor today with more pictures! Baby Pika is measuring right where it should be and will be 10 weeks along on Thursday. August 27th is the date. Next appointment is February 24th!

Baby Rostar #3

Baby Rostar #3 is on the way! Sarah is 7 weeks pregnant. Attached are the ultrasounds from today. One cute blob! Due date is August 27th.
