We had a doctor's appointment today because of some concerns and we found out both good and bad news. First, the bad news...

Sarah has an infection that puts Baby Pika at risk for a preterm labor. Not too big of a deal as we have an antibiotic to deal with that and hopefully it will be cleared up in no time. The bigger concern is the ultrasound tech found a growth near the baby in the uterus. She didn't notice it at the last ultrasound two weeks ago, but it was pretty sizable today. We have a follow up appointment in two weeks to see if it continues to grow. The doctors didn't really have an idea of what it was... so we just wait and watch and see.

Now on to the good news! Since we were so close to the normal baby screening ultrasound, we got to find out what the baby is. And a drum roll please...

Baby Pika is a Girl!

Thats right, three little baby girls! We went right out and bought a cute little dress for Baby Pika. Luckily, we saved most of Lexi's recent clothes and things, so we have a head start.
