Kira's Birthday Party Directions

For those that are coming to Kira's birthday party tomorrow, I think we're changing from the Club House to our house. Looks like we aren't going to need all the extra space of the club house. The address on the invitation was the club house address, so make sure you use our house address for directions. They're across the street from each other, so not a big deal either way. Our new address is:

11779 Sundrop Circle
Allendale, MI

In terms of driving, you might want to follow my super simple directions below. Google Maps or Map Quest might make it more complicated than it needs to be...

From US 131:
  1. Continue on US 131 South until you get close to downtown
  2. Exit on to I-196 WEST towards HOLLAND
  3. After about 2 miles, get off on LAKE MICHIGAN DRIVE
  4. Continue on LAKE MICHIGAN DRIVE for about 15 miles (~20 min)
  5. Past the entrance to Grand Valley State University is 48TH AVE., Turn Right ( North )
  6. Take the first Right Turn ( RICH RD. ) just after the big White Factory (also on your right)
  7. RICH RD will turn left ( North ) and become 46TH AVE.
  8. Take the first Right Turn ( PINGREE AVE ) just before an old corn field. This is the entrance to Boulder Ridge.
  9. At the Stop Sign, Turn Right and continue Right on the first road ( SUNDROP CIRCLE ). Our house is the first one on the right
From I-96:
  1. After the EAST BELTLINE EXIT on I-96 WEST, keep left and continue on I-196 WEST towards HOLLAND
  2. Continue with Step 3 from above.

Our New Home

We've been running out of space for a bit now with the three girls sharing one room. Our lease is up in April so we've been trying to figure out our next step. Well, this morning we signed the Rent-To-Own agreement for our new house! We're really excited to get out of apartment buildings and have a house of our own to live in. After a year of leasing, we'll have a purchase option. Its a manufactured home community. The place has a clubhouse, with indoor pool and a large playground area for the girls. So, here's a few aerials and a bunch of pictures of the new place. Latest we'll get our keys is March 15th. We'll be having Kira's birthday party at the clubhouse (already reserved it) so mark your calendars for April 3rd!

We'll be a little outside of GR

Just a Reminder...

Please remember that the emails you receive from [The Rostar Update] are really blog posts! When I put things like videos and slideshows in there, they will not show up in the emails. Make sure you click the link at the bottom of the email or go to http://rostarfamilyfun.blogspot.com/ and see the whole post with all the goodies!

Mialee Eve Rostar Arrives!

Well, Mialee Eve decided she wanted to come home a bit early!

Sarah woke up Friday morning with some concerns so we went into the hospital to make sure everything was ok. After a couple hours of being monitored, the doctors decided that Sarah was beginning labor so it was time for a C-section!

Mialee Eve Rostar was born on July 31, 2009 at 3:05 pm. She was 6 lbs, 13 ozs and was 18 inches long! (Shorter and Heavier then both of the other girls!)

Aunt Katie stayed with the girls until Mommy and Sister were ready. Grandma & Grandpa Rostar came down right away (Where was Uncle Aaron?!?!), followed by Unclde Rusty & Aunt Sue, Grandpa Brown, Uncle Will & Uncle Adam on Saturday. To top the weekend off, Grandma Vallad, Aunt Elizabeth, Aunt Stephanie and Uncle Corey came down Sunday to hang out for abit!

Sarah and Mialee were doing better then expected and they were able to come home a day early! Everyone is now happily at home and (for the most part) settled in!

Thank You to everyone for your great support and kindness! It was great to see everyone that stopped by and all of the gifts were much appreciated!

Enough of the talk! Below is a slideshow of the pictures! This is just a quick selection. I'll post a more 'thorough' selection when I get some time (Yeah Right).
